River Island held their Elle magazine event in London tonight showcasing their latest from the autumn/winter collection plus exclusive dresses that aren't coming until Christmas! The event was fairly low-key but great with great tasting drinks and plenty of manicures were around- and the girls working the event were lovely!

I was particularly interested in seeing the dresses for the Christmas collection as I found each piece incredibly eye catching.

They definitely did a good job of picking outfits to show the real diversity River Island will continue to have but the collection definitely looked promising with gorgeous sophisticatedly chic looking colours and with beautiful floral elements brought into the design of some.

Burberry Prorsum S/S 2012

Okay well I don't know about you guys but Burberry's Spring/Summer 2012 collection may well be one of my absolute favourite collections I have seen in the history of Burberry. The diversity of colours and materials and yet maintaining that signature look that has remained consistent in every collection thus far.

Purple was by far the most used and prominent colour in the collection in its richest shade wrapping up the collection in its most expensively effective way. Heavy knitwear was also an exciting trend that seems to have played a massive part of the overall Spring/Summer 2012 fashion shows.

My name is Patrick Elliott but please feel free to call me Pat or Paddy. I am nineteen years old, I am from Australia but I have recently moved to London. This is my first attempt at a fashion blog and it's quite silly at how nervous I am about doing it. I have wanted to make one for so long but have never had the courage to do so. Fashion has become such a massive part of my life simply because how passionate I have grown to be about it over the last couple of years.
